If you are looking for guidance for a longer time of Sunday worship then you are welcome to use this outline as a starting place.

Opening prayer

Lord Jesus, we echo the words of the Psalmist this morning as we proclaim that you are our LIGHT and our Salvation. We acknowledge your LORDSHIP and AUTHORITY in our lives, not with unnecessary fear, but with AWE and REVERENCE. You are the God who speaks words of consolation into our troubled hearts, and you are equally the compassionate friend, who listens to the simple prayers of your people. We remain confident that, despite all we see happening around us, that our Hope and Promise lie in the name of your son, Jesus Christ. We commit our ways to you again and wait for the fulfilment of your purposes. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Call to worship – Psalm 95:1-7

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
    let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
    and extol him with music and song.

For the Lord is the great God,
    the great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth,
    and the mountain peaks belong to him.
The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hands formed the dry land.

Come, let us bow down in worship,
    let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
for he is our God
    and we are the people of his pasture,
    the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice,

Benediction

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
