About Us
The lifeblood of Fish Hoek Methodist Church centres around three focal words: GO, GATHER and GROW. It is our desire to move into our community (GO) with hope and the Good News of Jesus Christ. We also seek to meet together in various ways (GATHER) in order to strengthen our faith and to learn how to follow Christ more effectively (GROW).
Fish Hoek Methodist Church is part of the wider Methodist family, which serves the people of Southern Africa. You will find us in 1st Avenue in Fish Hoek.

We always love having visitors join us. Please feel free to worship with us and if you would like to become part of the family then get in touch with the church office. Contact the church office to find out when our next informal ‘Welcome’ evening is.

Kids and Teens
We are blessed to have active ministries to the children and youth in our community. These are usually run on a
Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Saturday evening times are 18:00 – 19:00 pm (Grades 1-7) and 19:00-20:30 pm for the Teens.
The Sunday morning ministry for our youth and children takes place at during the 8:30 am service.
GO
At the heart of our mission is the desire to reach out beyond the walls of our church buildings. We hear Jesus’ call to ‘Go into all the world and make disciples’ (Matthew 28:18) and we seek to do this in a number of active ways.
GATHER
Meeting together as the body of Christ is important for us. Besides our weekly Sunday services, we gather in a variety of ministries, small groups and fellowship meetings.
GROW
We are all still growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ and as a community we are committed to learn together. Our growth as disciples of Jesus takes places through regular Bible Studies, courses, and other special events
