Opening prayer
Dear Jesus, as we meet together today please let us experience joy through your Holy Spirit. Fill our hearts with your gift of joy – a joy that material things cannot give to us. Help us experience this deep joy, especially in this time of great uncertainty and despite what we hear in the news, read in the papers, and perhaps are experiencing ourselves. Dear Jesus, please bring us your peace, love and joy in our time of worship time today. We ask this in the name of your son Jesus Christ, Amen.
